Description:

This museum quality table cloth from the 18th century, which was also used as a hanging decoration, was originally intended to be used at a wedding ceremony. Jewels and dowry gifts would be placed on top of it.
This was hand stitched using silk and cotton, and took a great amount of time to create.
It was kept in immaculate condition, and still looks new even though it is over 100 years old.
The piece is filled with colors and symbolism intended to extend joy, happiness, love, prosperity, spirituality, good luck, and good energy to its recipient.
The quality and detail of this tapestry reveals that it was likely intended for a person of the royal family.
The back of the piece is made from Russian cotton that was popular during the 18th century in Turkmenistan.
