Baluchi Rugs

Baluchi rugs (a.k.a. Baluch or Beluchi rugs) are hand woven rugs created by nomad Baluch artists that lived on the borders of Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, as well as in Bahrain and India.

Baluchi rugs are usually identified by the quality of wool and combinations of colors used – traditionally coming from indigo, turmeric, and the leaves of apple trees collected in the autumn fall.

Aside from this, there is no particular design belonging to the Baluchi tribe.
